About MAIA (🗣 Maya)

MAIA (My AI Assistant) brings the power of AI (Artificial Intelligence) to your web browser. We use OpenAI's technology (the same technology that powers ChatGPT) to help you be super productive and save you money!

MAIA was born out of frustration of copying and pasting content into ChatGPT for analysis (summarisation, content generation, data analysis etc.). Additionally, we found a lot of AI-based tools to be overpriced, especially when OpenAI's services are so reasonably priced!

MAIA started as a personal project and evolved into a versatile tool that can be used by everyone. The reason we developed this as a Chrome extension is because AI is best utlised when it has context (example - content on websites) to work with.

Imagine summarising a 10,000 word blog post to 300 words, MAIA, can simply detect the text of the blog post and summarise it for you. No more switching tabs or copying and pasting content into ChatGPT.
